Hi!

Welcome to our virtual humble abode. We’ve got photos and music for anyone interested. This is what the Goodfellows have been doing over the past few years:

Linda and I took a two week long tour of Colorado and New Mexico starting in mid-September of 2024 - the longest trip we've been on in decades. Three thousand miles driven and many early mornings to see some amazing places in two states that I had never before visited - some of those places over ten thousand feet in elevation. I'm still trying to catch my breath.

Late winter and early spring of 2023 sent us on 3 short desert trips. Kelly and I spent two days in Anza Borrego, then Kelly and Linda camped overnight in Joshua Tree. When I saw their photos I just had to drag Linda back there with me right away. Multiple winter storms brought rain to our deserts, so the wildflowers were spectacular. And check out our diamondback rattler encounter.

And I had to add a page of fantastic photos Linda took in the late fall of the ocean at the River Jetties, just a short walk from our house. It sucks to be us!

In September of 2022 Linda and her mom met up with Julianne in Reno and then continued on together to Grand Teton National Park. They spent a week there, which included one very long day in Yellowstone.

Our big trip of 2021 was to Crescent City with Linda's mom, who we picked up in Napa, and with Werner and Julianne, who drove from Eugene to meet us there. We rented at a nice little Airbnb beach cottage that sat atop a bluff overlooking the Pacific and was named Bungalow Azul.

We didn't do much in the first half of 2021. We did get to Joshua tree after a long pandemic related hiatus. And the three of us made it to Palomar Mountain State Park before it got too hot. But you don't need more photos of our camping trips.  Instead, I thought I'd add a page of random photos and videos from this year that MADE ME SMILE. We should all have a little more to smile about right about now.

So, what should I say about 2020? We'll just pretend it never happened. Oh, there were two big events: I retired and Marla and Armen got married. The rest of it I'd rather forget.

2019 was an action-packed year. Linda and I took a trip to Arizona in March. We visited Ogan Pipe Cactus National Reserve and Saguaro National Park. In addition to the iconic cacti, we stumbled upon some beautiful wildflower fields as well. Kelly, Arnold and I camped at a calm and peaceful Shaver Lake in the fall. This was Arnold's first camping experience and he lived to bark about it. Coincidentally to our Shaver trip, Linda was cruising with her sis and mom in Alaska. Check out Hubbard Glacier. And most recently we visited Death Valley (California) and Valley of Fire (Nevada).

As usual, there are new songs, AND NOW YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THEM.
