We’ve never been to this side of the Sierras in the fall. Scott and Kelene Johnson were kind enough to invite us to their cabin on the June Lake loop to enjoy some spectacular autumn color. Cottonwood, willow and aspen set the mountain on fire. Linda and I hiked the Rock Creek Trail again (one of our favorites). To see what a difference a change of season makes, check out the photos of Marsh Lake here (on page 3) and then go to Mammoth 2011 to see the same lake in the summer.
